Time is ticking
I made this piece about 3 years ago, when I was searching for a new house without a lot of success. I felt the weight of time, the pressure of every grain of sand as it cascades through the hour glass.
Overthinking
I made this at a time in my life where I was worrying a lot, something that goes hand in hand with overthinking. I’m not always able to appreciate my own art straight away, so I gave it to a friend who I knew could resonate with the topic. Later I was able to see the beauty in it. My friend loved it so much that she let me re-create it on a larger scale on her wall.
The mind is beautiful thing, it can bring you to rosy gardens, but at the same time it can make you feel trapped.
