Oil paintings

Scroll

Even though I couldn’t come up with a fitting title , this series represents so much for me, how the vibrant contrasting colours come together and form such a calm series of visuals, and it shows how the beauty of the black women doesn’t only lay in the colour of our skin, it’s in the way our bone structure is formed, it’s in the way we hold ourselves, and it’s in our unity

Forest day dream

As a little girl I used to love the fairy-tale books with the stunning princesses and the magical forests, I could spend hours daydreaming of dancing around in fields filled with flowers and the warm sun beaming down on my face. Now I’m grown it’s really fulfilling to be able to paint these visions and make them come alive.

I hope I can inspire you to step back into your own childhood mind. In moments where your body was present but your mind in a whole different universe, maybe because you didn’t want to be present, maybe just because you had a vivid imagination. Either way a daydream can bring you wherever you want, if you just let it.✨
